FIBER OPTIC AT LAST

Kenyans can't wait to connect to high speed internet, cable T.V and other internet based communication services that they have been deprived of by the poor infrustracture over the years. The proposal to connect the country through fiber is thus most commendable as one of the best projects the kibaki government will be remembered for. Fiber-optic lines are strands of optically pure glass as thin as a human hair that carry digital information over long distances. The fact that it's cheaper and faster means that more kenyans will be able to connect to the rest of the world better than with the current facilities. This will subsequently translate into investments and economic growth.
surely, it cant be said any better that the proposal is long over due. Kenya like most african countries needs to utilize technology as an active tool to spur economic growth and development.
